Dr. Yori Thomas is a skilled chiropractor in Newburyport, MA, specializing in personalized care for back pain, neck pain, and musculoskeletal injuries. She has a special interest in helping dancers, musicians, and creative professionals maintain the physical health they need to perform at their best. Her approach focuses on injury recovery, posture, movement, and long-term wellness.
Dr. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and Dance Education from Emerson College and a Master of Education in Arts and Learning from Endicott College. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States. She is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and holds a certificate in Performing Arts Medicine, allowing her to support both active individuals and performing artists with specialized chiropractic care.
As a trained dancer and member of Exit Dance Theatre, Dr. Thomas brings a deep, personal understanding of the physical demands placed on the body. She combines clinical expertise with real-world experience to help patients move better, recover from injury, and continue doing what they love.

45 minutes
Your first visit includes a comprehensive medical history and collaboration on goals for your chiropractic care. A thorough exam will be performed to assess back pain, neck pain, or musculoskeletal concerns, findings will be discussed, and questions will be addressed. Treatment is often performed the same day, provided it is determined to be safe to proceed and time allows.

30 minutes
This option is for existing patients experiencing a new injury, back pain, neck pain, or area of concern, or who have not been seen in over a year.
Extended visits may also be used for periodic progress exams, chiropractic care updates, or more detailed treatment as needed.

15 minutes
A skilled chiropractic adjustment is performed in accordance with your personalized treatment plan to address back pain, neck pain, and musculoskeletal concerns. A variety of chiropractic and rehabilitative techniques may be used, tailored specifically to each patient’s unique needs and preferences.
